Well, football <em>and<\/em> tailgating. In today\u2019s culture, tailgating has become almost as important as attending the actual game. Hours upon hours and sometimes days go into the planning and prepping of a tailgate. With these few tips, tricks and suggestions, I hope I can make that process a little simpler, and ultimately allow more time for you to enjoy and celebrate!<\/p>\n<p>Being a proud Penn State alum, I have very high expectations for a proper tailgating experience. Everything from the food, to the drinks, music, lawn games, d\u00e9cor and of course the perfect game day outfit!<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>Fine Dining <\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Food. Food. And yes, more food. Every tailgate is only as good as the food served. You can never go wrong with the classics \u2013 Pulled pork sandwiches, hamburgers, hotdogs and pasta salad. A great way to spice up this traditional spread is with easy crock pot meals. <a href=\"http:\/\/redirect.viglink.com?key=672004f09a04b877c351a2512433aa88&amp;type=bk&amp;u=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.crock-pot.com%2F\">Find<\/a> some of my tried and true <a href=\"http:\/\/redirect.viglink.com?key=672004f09a04b877c351a2512433aa88&amp;type=bk&amp;u=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.crock-pot.com%2F\">recipes<\/a> below to WOW any seasoned tailgater at!<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>Sweet Baby Ray\u2019s Sweet and Sour Meatballs: <\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Ingredients:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>1 bottle (18 oz.) Sweet Baby Ray\u2019s Original BBQ Sauce<\/li>\n<li>2 pounds frozen, prepared meatballs<\/li>\n<li>2\u00bd cups grape jelly<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Directions:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Combine Sweet Baby Ray\u2019s BBQ sauce with grape jelly in crock pot. Stir well<\/li>\n<li>Add frozen meatballs to mixture and stir until evenly coated<\/li>\n<li>Cover and cook on high heat for 3.5 hours, stirring about 2 hours in<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><u>Crock Pot Crack Potatoes: <\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Ingredients:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>1 bag of frozen shredded hash browns<\/li>\n<li>2 packets of dry Hidden Valley Ranch seasoning<\/li>\n<li>4 cups of shredded cheddar cheese<\/li>\n<li>2 jars of bacon bits<\/li>\n<li>2 (16 oz.) containers of sour cream<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Directions:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Thaw hash browns<\/li>\n<li>Combine hash browns, sour cream, bacon bits, ranch seasoning and 3.5 cups of cheese in large mixing bowl.<\/li>\n<li>Save \u00bd cup of cheddar cheese to add on later<\/li>\n<li>Pour combined mixture into baking dish<\/li>\n<li>Bake for 45 minutes at 350 degrees<\/li>\n<li>With 30 minutes remaining, add remaining \u00bd cup of cheddar cheese on top<\/li>\n<li>Once cooked, pour into crock pot to warm and serve<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><u>Drinks<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Picture this: Crisp Fall morning, sun is rising, the smell of fresh cut grass is in the air, and you\u2019re sipping on a nice, smooth Apple Cider Mimosa. Can it get any better than that? Amp up your early morning tailgate with this spin on a classic courtesy of Delish.com and GeniusKitchen.com.<\/p>\n<p><strong><u><a href=\"https:\/\/www.delish.com\/cooking\/recipe-ideas\/recipes\/a46963\/apple-cider-mimosas-recipe\/\">Apple Cider Mimosa:<\/a> <\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Ingredients:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>2 tbsp.\u00a0sugar<\/li>\n<li>1 tbsp.\u00a0ground cinnamon<\/li>\n<li>1 cup apple cider<\/li>\n<li>1\u00a0bottle champagne<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Directions:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Combine sugar and cinnamon<\/li>\n<li>Dip champagne flutes in water to wet the rims, then dip in cinnamon sugar mixture<\/li>\n<li>Fill champagne flutes 1\/4 full with apple cider, then top off with champagne<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.geniuskitchen.com\/recipe\/pudding-shots-alcoholic-107198\"><strong><u>Pudding Shots:<\/u><\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Ingredients:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>1 (3 1\/2 oz.) package\u00a0instant chocolate pudding mix<\/li>\n<li>\u00be cup\u00a0milk<\/li>\n<li>\u00bc cup\u00a0vodka<\/li>\n<li>\u00bd cup\u00a0Irish cream<\/li>\n<li>8 extra\u00a0Cool Whip<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Directions:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Mix pudding and milk until well blended<\/li>\n<li>Add vodka and Irish cream, mix well<\/li>\n<li>Fold in Cool Whip<\/li>\n<li>Divide into individual servings<\/li>\n<li>Keep frozen<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Keep these sweet treats and all other beverages cool and crisp all tailgate long in your premium <a href=\"https:\/\/www.yeti.com\/\">Yeti<\/a> cooler.
