Three years down the line, in 1992, Kipling opened a new range of affordable bags and accessories that was called Kipling Basic. The same year saw Kipling establish another foreign subsidiary, this time in Italy. This year marks the real beginning of global expansion by Kipling. Within a span of one decade, from 1992, Kipling set up their subsidiaries in Spain, Portugal, the US, the UK and Canada. Along with these global subsidiaries, Kipling also managed to make their presence in Belgium increase to a large degree.
