Sesame Place was established on the 30th of July, 1980 and it is situated at Langhorne, Pennsylvania. This theme park was built to revolve around the popular television series called Sesame Streets as they have licensing from the Sesame Workshop. The theme park was designed by Eric McMillan, Sandra Hanna and a few other names. The park runs from the early of May right up to October for their Halloween show, following by their A Very Furry Christmas show.
While it started as a theme park of just 3 acres, it grew to become 14 acres with many theme park rides and water park attractions. To honor their most popular character, Sesame Place opened up the Cookie’s Monster Land in 2014. The park is owned by SeaWorld Entertainment which also owns a number of other popular water parks throughout America.
