A car is an essential thing in our lives. Even if we think that we can easily live without one, when we get it, we cannot live without it anymore. It saves us so much precious time, makes our everyday lives easier and allows us to go whenever we want, wherever we want. We do not depend on buses’ schedules and no one else. A car gives us freedom.

But this freedom comes with a serious price. To begin with, the car itself is expensive. You can find cars that are quite cheap, but usually you will end up spending loads of time in services trying to repair it and will end up spending so much money on it that with all that money you could buy yourself a proper car. So, a car that works properly and the one that does not sound like it is going to break every single time you start an engine, costs a lot. But somehow, after some serious calculation, you figure out a way how to get a good car to enjoy this freedom. You get a car and then you realize that this is not it. You have to take care of insurance of it, finalize a lot of documents and do all other things to finally enjoy this car. But all these other things cost money too.

And when you are all done with it, suddenly you notice that there is something wrong with your car. And you know what it means – it needs to get repaired, therefore, you need to spend more money on your precious car. While some people, even annoyed with this series of events, take their car to the service and pay whatever needs to be paid, others are more of the risk takers. They decide that they are not going to spend any more money and just ignore the problems the car might have and use it as usual.

They say that freedom comes with responsibility and when you are in driver’s seat, the responsibility is yours. Cars are fun and really make our lives less stressful, but you have to take care of it and make sure that it is always good to use.
