The company love teachers and librarians. So, they offer a 10% discount to public, private and home-school teachers as well as school and city librarians. All you have to do to receive the discount is go to any one of our Neighborhood Locations and present some sort of identification that verifies you're an educator (i.e. pay stub, id card/badge). One of their employees will then give you a 10% discount card good for one year at all of our stores. This discount is not valid online.

In addition to educators, all customers who sign up for the Half Price Books mailing list will be subscribed to receive occasional discount offers and money-saving coupons in the mail or via e-mail. Among the benefits of being a subscriber, you’ll also receive information about sales and other special events in your local area. In addition, they will occasionally let email subscribers know about products available online in the HPB Marketplace. In-store discounts and offers are not valid online.
